All components are manufactured from excellent grades of raw materials with full traceability from the steel mill and smelting facilities to finished product, including plating & finishing to international standards.
What are Electromechanical Components?
Electromechanical components refer to devices or systems that combine both electrical and mechanical functionalities. These components play a crucial role in the operation and control of various machines and systems.
They convert electrical signals into mechanical movement or vice versa, enabling the transmission, generation, or conversion of power. Electromechanical components include relays, switches, motors, actuators, sensors, solenoids, etc.
These components are widely used in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and robotics, as they provide the necessary control and automation for various applications.
Electromechanical Component Housings
Electromechanical component housings refer to the protective enclosures that house various electromechanical components, such as switches, relays, connectors, and terminals.
These housings are designed to provide physical protection to the components, shielding them from moisture, dust, vibration, and other environmental factors that could potentially impact their performance.
They are typically made from durable materials, such as plastics or metals, with some featuring sealing mechanisms, gaskets, or IP-rated designs to ensure water and dust resistance.
Housings play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and longevity of electromechanical systems in various applications, ranging from industrial machinery and automotive vehicles to consumer electronics and medical devices.
Deep Drawn Housings and Enclosures.
Deep Drawn Housings from Multi-Stage Progression Tools
Donlouco manufactures customer-specific deep-drawn housings in high volumes, working with customers who manufacture solenoid valves. The deep-drawn housing is manufactured in a multi-stage progression tool from mild, stainless steel. The parts have a thick base and drawn sides. Other parts are made from individual die sets with some from ultra-high pressure cold forming tool sets.

Manufacturing Process For Electromechanical Components.
Punching, Forming and Deep Drawing
Complex parts are manufactured using various metal stamping processes like punching, forming and drawing. These complex parts can be of various shapes and thicknesses and are manufactured in multistage progression tools or individual punching & drawing tools that are all customised to exact customer requirements for customer-specific parts.
Tooling for High Volume Production.
Custom Tooling for Precision Components
Custom tooling for customer-specific parts.
Donlouco can produce parts from single die sets to complex progress multistage tool die sets for higher volume.
Tools include drawing and forming operations to increase flexibility for intricate part design while maintaining a low price point on individual parts. These tools sets can be used to make standard precision parts to high tolerance parts & fine blanking parts with complex shapes and multiple part features.
Solenoid and Valve Housing.
Stainless Steel Components for Solenoids Valves
Hydraulic solenoid valves are widely used in aerospace, construction, automotive and many other industries that require hydraulic systems. Donlouco has extensive experience manufacturing deep-drawn components, supplying clients operating in the automotive and Industrial applications space, for the manufacturing of Solenoid Valves.
Characteristics of Deep Drawn Housings and Enclosures.
Custom Made
Design and Engineering
Deep-drawn enclosures are designed and engineered to meet the needs of a wide range of applications and customer requirements. These components are strong, durable and manufactured from approved materials.
Features and Specifications:
Deep-drawn enclosures can be manufactured to a wide range of features and specifications, depending on the application and are available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Low Cost
Efficiency and Cost Savings
Deep-drawn stamping is usually the most efficient method of high-volume manufacturing when large quantities of parts are required on a regular basis.
Punch presses are designed to operate at high speeds and can be equipped with automatic material feeds for enhanced efficiency.
Deep-drawn components are also created in one piece, thereby reducing the need for additional assemblies such as cutting or welding. A deep-drawn component has the added benefit of seamless construction. These are great cost-saving factors in the manufacturing process.
Precision Manufactured
Automation
Once the initial set-up phase is completed, the manufacturing process is automated for deep-drawn enclosures. Automation allows for long production runs, resulting in more consistent and higher-quality components.
Accuracy
One of the main advantages of precision-manufactured deep-drawn enclosures is the accuracy with which they are manufactured to. The use of automated processes and advanced machinery ensures that the enclosures are produced to exact specifications and with very tight tolerances. This makes them ideal for use in applications where precise measurements are required.
Tight Tolerances and Quality
Tight Tolerances
Deep-drawn enclosures are manufactured to tight tolerances. In many cases, it is important that these tight tolerance are achieved due to the intended application of the components.
Quality Control
Quality control for deep-drawn enclosures starts with an incoming material inspection, followed by routine checks, dimensional inspections, and visual inspections which should be done at all stages of the manufacturing process.
All parts and materials are accompanied with full traceability reports and documentation.
High-Grade Materials
Steel and Aluminium
Due to the intended applications of deep-drawn enclosures, it is important to use high-grade materials. Steel and aluminium are both great options for these components, as they are strong, durable and can be formed into many shapes and sizes. Additionally, both materials are relatively affordable, making them ideal for deep-drawn enclosures.

Testing & Quality Control Methods.
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
This is a device that measures the geometry of the component by sensing discrete points on the surface of the component with a probe.
72, 96 & 720 Hours Salt Spray Tests
This is a standardised corrosion test method, used to check the corrosion resistance of materials and surface coatings. Donlouco has its own salt spray test machine in its facilities in China. Once the parts are tested a full report is sent to the customer for review.
